Taj Mapaw Spaw is truly a gift from Heaven. This place is out of this world and my two dogs actually came home, not only groomed the best I have ever seen, for such a reasonable price, but also...so very happy. The place itself is like The Ritz doggie daycare. The ladies are like family and immediately kissed and hugged both dogs (this was our first time being there) and truly showed genuine love and affection for them. I honestly cannot say enough about this "treasure" of a place. Grooming now for my furkids has become a treat rather than a terrible ordeal. And for me...I just cannot be any happier or more excited about discovering Taj Mapaw Spaw....WE ALL LOVE YOU GUYS THANK YOU. Frankie and Johnny and their human parents.

My hunt is officially over!

You need to go to this groomer! Love my dog, hated the hunt for a decent groomer! Taj Mapaw Spa has been mentioned here before, don't know by whom but THANK YOU! My hunt is officially over, we will be going to Diane until she kicks us out! Lol She loves dogs and is very warm and welcoming and has NO crates, plenty of dog bed and toys. BEST.GROOMER.EVER.

Diane is awesome!!! Taj Mapaw Spaw gets five stars because they give five star service. Our Great Dane, Gideon, has been going to Diane and her team for over a year! Cage free environment. Each time I pick him up she is playing catch with him. The best groomer in Orange County! It truly is a Spa for dogs. Thanks Diane!

The BEST groomers in Orange County...hands down. Dianne is the best. My Shorkie and Shekingnese (Boba and Simba) have been going to the Taj Mapaw for over a year now and I would never trust them with anyone else. The cage free environment and friendly atmosphere leave my two dogs as happy as they can be. I am consistently surprised and impressed with how clean and good looking my boys are when we pick them up! My absolute highest recommendation.

Dianne and her crew are the sweetest people and you can tell they love dogs!

I took my pomeranian, Simba, to Dianne today and she is absolutely amazing. To be brief, Simba's usually not the nicest dog around. It was his first grooming and I was completely nervous about whether or not he'd behave. When I went to pick him up, I saw him happy and running around. Dianne is magical.

The "spaw" is located in Dianne's back yard in a residential neighborhood. She lives right off of the 91 freeway so it was convenient and easy to locate. I got mildly lost trying to find the house number because all the houses were so huge, there isn't a visible number anywhere but know that it's on your right and is early on.

Both ladies who worked on Simba were as nice as could be. They seemed concerned about Simba's well-being and made it a more personal experience. He got a wash, flea bath and cut and the total came out to be $45, $35 after the $10 discount for being a new customer. He even came with a little blue bandana! Simba was so cute that I didn't want to let him walk around and get all dirty again so I ended up holding him for the first hour.

If you need to get your dog groomed, Taj Mapaw is the place to go. Dianne and her crew are the sweetest people and you can tell they love dogs. It's affordable and they do a wonderful job.

BEST....GROOMER.....EVER!!!!

The girls had their first official grooming appointment today and I couldn't be more thrilled. I HIGHLY recommend: Taj Mapaw Spaw in Anaheim Hills. Diane and Liz were sooooo amazing.

Why I loved them so much?

They spent lots of time getting to know my girls before they jumped in and started grooming
They have a wonderful yard for the dogs to run around in before and after apts.
The dogs don't sit in crates for hours at a time.... In fact, there are no crates.
The dogs are groomed right at appointment time so there is very little overlapping with other dogs.
Diane has many doggie beds & couches for the pups to relax on before and after,(they look cozy)
And..... They love dogs...Look at Liz (groomer) and Penny. She sent these pics to me right before pick up.

We got the middle package and she gave us ten dollars off for being new so.... it was $40,00 a girl and I'm not kidding when I say that I'm thrilled. I was expecting something like a trip to the vets office. My girls didn't want to leave. They wanted to keep playing with toys and chasing Diane's three dogs around,,,lol, it really is a doggie spa.

They trimmed and cleaned them up, did their ears, toes and bottom, wash and dry...and, they smelled yummy and had adorable little bandanas on. So cute! Nancie, maybe you can plan it around a romp or something.

My dog had a lot of special requirements...

This is where I've been going!! My dog had a lot of special requirements --her leg was pinned together, she had surgery, etc, but really needed some grooming. I took Kirby there and Diane was able to clean her up (she had to clip her) and then as soon as the pins were out she got a regular bath. Kirby loves going there. BTW, Kirby's coat has already grown out and she looks cuter than ever.

I posted Taj Mapaw Spaw on the looking for groomer thread, so I am glad that you went there and were pleased. I see someone else posted her name, too. She told me she is doing lots of doodles now.

I took my Standard Schnauzer to Taj Mapaw last week and she looks beautiful. They did a great job. Normally when I get her back from her usual groomer her skin is dry and she licks at her paws a lot. This time she was super soft and very happy. I am so glad I found this place. I will be recommending them to everyone I know who loves their dogs.

They look great, and you absolutely cannot beat the price paid for services rendered!

I just brought home my two medium dogs from their first washing/grooming at Taj Mapaw. They look great, and you absolutely cannot beat the price paid for services rendered.

Both ladies that worked on both my dogs were extremely warm and friendly, and my dogs seemed very comfortable around both of them when I came to pick them up. The owner was very concerned with making sure I was satisfied by asking if I wanted anything else taken care of and making sure the dogs looked the way I wanted them to. She was extremely gentle and patient with my (not-so-gentle) female dog (who is very sensitive about having her feet messed with). She was just so nurturing and nice to her, even though I know very well how frustrating my dog can be!

For $35 each, my long-haired dogs were washed, dried, had anal glands checked, teeth cleaned, nails trimmed, hair brushed (de-shedding) and trimmed, and came home with little bandannas around their necks. No hidden charges or added-on fees.

I would definitely take them back there because they seemed really happy and well-taken care of at Taj Mapaw!

Muffin and I give Taj Mapaw 2 paws up!

I used to take by dog Muffin to PetSmart. They always did a nice job, but Muffin didn't like it. I am sure they were nice etc, but I don't think she liked being in a cage and the long time that she was there.

I tried Taj Mapaw Spaw and it was wonderful. Muffin was not in a cage and she was only there about 2 hours. Not only did they do a good grooming job, but Muffin was happy. When I went to pick her up, she was in the back yard rolling around with Diane. It is a very nice environment. Muffin and I give Taj Mapaw 2 paws up!

I couldn't be any happier with the grooming services at Taj Mapaw Spaw. I consider myself hard to please when it comes to grooming my dogs but I seriously can't think of anything negative to say. I've had many groomers over the years and Diane is by far my favorite. My poodle and Labradoodle always look just how I like them and I know they are treated well. I've recommended 3 of my friends who all take their dogs as well. They are just as happy.

I especially love how the dogs can run around and relax when waiting for me or each other to finish. I also love how patient Diane is with my Labradoodle because he's not a big fan of being groomed and can be quite difficult sometimes. I feel her prices are reasonable and she is always very accommodating when scheduling an appointment.

Five stars!! I'll definitely be back!

I was looking for a good grooming place for my lil Oliver and came across Taj Mapaw spaw, and can I say I am extremely happy! I was a little over protective of my little guy cuz Oliver is 4 months old and this was his first grooming experience. Diane was very nice and showed Oliver lots of love until he felt comfortable, then he was hand washed and forty minutes later I received a phone call and he was ready!

I love that this place has an open indoor and outdoor area for the pups to lounge in. I love the fact that there are no cages! They had noticed that he had dry skin and used a special soothing shampoo, and even asked what kinda toys he prefers to play with. Wow! I could tell my pup was in good hands. The price was great, they showed they cared, the spaw was clean and my little baby looked amazing! Diane even took pics of Olivers first bath and sent them to me. Five stars!! I'll definitely be back!

Taj Mapaw Spaw is a true gem!

Diane was so sweet and gentle with my pup :D She even made an appt for me at 7:00am on a Saturday(talk about being flexible)

TMS is cage free & the pups can run around and play while they wait!

I would totally be willing to dish out extra cash for this place but the pricing is incredibly affordable, almost $30 less than what I was paying at Petsmart. What an awesome deal.

If you are a dog owner and live in orange county do yourself a favor and get your pup groomed at TMS. You won't regret it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! and Diane!

Took Hamlet here for his first grooming session. a 3 month old malti-poo. She was so gentle with him and he absolutely loved her. His puppy cut came out perfect and she knew exactly how to cut his hair I didn't have to explain much.

Diane is AMAZING! Here are few reasons of why I love her!

-Diane is the only groomer, so you know that your puppy's cuts will be consistent and the best every time.
-She was willing to take him an hr and half before his appt time (1:30pm, appt was at 3pm) and care for him til I got off work at 5. She's minutes from my work and I explained this to her and she happily obliged.
-Cage free. Your babies are free to romp and play around in the spacious yard or sleep on many of the comfy cushions she has around shop.
-She answered every single one of my questions and was always happy to do so.
-She LOVES animals. You can just tell, not in the fake way like she has to because it's her job, but more like she loves that this is her job.
-She only has about 3 clients a day more or less depending. So you know she's not rushing through one client to get to another.
-VERY VERY affordable.
-Diane even texted me an adorable pic of Hamlet when she was done with him to notify me. She's too sweet. (the pic is posted)

NOTE: She runs this business from her beautiful home so when dropping off your baby, you'll be in a neighborhood. I thought I was lost because I was looking for an actual storefront.

Wonderful, relaxing service!

I found Dianne through an internet search. I have a rescue dog who is deaf and is also losing his sight. Because of this, and the fact that he was abused before I got him, he is very difficult to groom. I called Dianne and explained my situation and she didn't hesitate to have me bring him to her. He was a little nasty, but soon calmed down enough to let her bathe him and even give him a cute puppy cut! She is very calm and patient with her "clients", and also very brave :) she gave him kisses and spoke softly to him while working. I'm so thankful I found her and would definitely recommend her services. The atmosphere is very relaxing and calming for the dogs as well as the owners. I will be taking my "little man" back for a day at the spaw! He felt so good when he got home that he stretched out on his bed and took a nap!

The biggest difference about the
experience is that JoJo didn't come home 'sad'!

I didn't meet Diane personally since my fiance dropped off and picked up our dog JoJo. But Diane was very friendly on the phone when I called to make the appointment.

JoJo came back smelling wonderful. The puppy cut was shorter than I expected, but it was his first time with Diane. I will know next time to tell her not to cut it so short.

The biggest difference about the experience is that JoJo didn't come home 'sad'. He was all happy and excited and ready to play. At the other groomer, he usually come home with a butt-ache and he'd not want to move for a couple of days. I'd have to tell them not to do the anal extraction. They sometimes trim his nails too short or something so he'd limp for a couple of days, too. But not with Diane. I was really relieved!

Diane also recommend 'Angel Eyes' for the tear and saliva stain. I never knew about this. Thanks Diane!

There isn't a single negative thing
we can say about the Taj Mapaw Spaw!

I'll start by saying that we don't normally give 5 stars... but there isn't a single negative thing we can say about the Taj Mapaw Spaw. We really like it here for a number of reasons. First, Dianne, the owner is super nice. You can tell she really loves dogs and it's not just a job to her. That's important to us if we're leaving our dogs in her care. She is cage free, so when the dogs aren't getting groomed, they are free to roam around her shop, lounge on her big pet beds, or play in her grassy back yard. Her prices are really reasonable.. and she always does a really good job. And lastly, I like that when we take our dogs to the Taj Mapaw we know that it's always Dianne grooming them. She does everything herself unlike other other places you go, sometimes the cut is really good, sometimes it's not that great depending on who does the work. Other notable points.. she is doggy CPR certified and she gives you 1 1/2 hours of doggy day care after your pet is done! I've also never had a problem getting a same day appointment whenever I call.

Dianne is a great groomer!

Dianne is a great groomer. She studied under and is good friends with the owner of The Spaw at Tustin. Just like the Spaw, the dogs are usually cage free and are free to wander around the play area. I used to go to The Spaw exclusively but once I found out about Taj Mapaw I decided to give it a try. I actually like it better then The Spaw because it's closer to me and Dianne did a great job grooming my two dogs (a Bichon and Coton). Dianne usually does the grooming herself which is great and she only does a handful of dogs a day. That's what I like best about this place versus the Spaw because the Spaw gets super busy sometimes and I get my dogs like 6 hours later. Dianne usually finishes in two or two and a half hours for both. Plus her facility is new and clean, and she's a little cheaper. I recommend her whole heartedly.

This place is fantastic!

This place is fantastic! I have two dogs, one of them is an older completely deaf Springer Spaniel named Melody. The owner/ groomer of Taj Mapaw Spaw was very gentle and loving with her and I really appreciated that. Both my puppies Melody and Maggie Mae came home to me looking great and smelling wonderful. They also loved playing with the other dogs in the "doggie daycare".  I would definitely recommend "Taj Mapaw Spaw".

I am the owner of the Spaw in Tustin and I have been in this industry for well over twenty years and I can tell you, there are very few people in this industry that truly love animals. I have worked with Dianne side by side and I have been fortunate enough to get to know her personally. Her heart is in the right place she will take very good care of your pet. You will love her place, very clean and stress free, which is hard to find.

Its nice that there are no cages!

Great place, I took my little Sadie and my Lab Baliy here and they both came back sooo happy there were 3 other Shih Tzus that live there so she was having lots of fun.    Its nice that there are no cages so the dogs can run around and play with the other dogs. Only issue was I had to wait a couple of days because they were booked but I usually make advance appointments anyways so I am all set for next time.

I took both of my dogs to Taj Mapaw Spaw today... This is the best place ever to have your dogs groomed and or boarded.. Dianne takes great care with both aspects...
